	Warranties

The products we sell fall into four categories: OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Branded Compatibles, Generic (new), and Remanufactured (reconditioned). Our warranty policy varies for each category.

OEM products are warranted directly by the manufacturer. In general, warranty claims should be submitted directly to the manufacturer as they will typically request information such as the serial number(s) of the equipment involved and the precise nature of the problem. Please see our contacts page for links to many of the manufacturer's support sites.
Branded Compatibles are produced by "big name" companies specifically for other manufacturers' equipment and carry their own manufacturer warranty. Contact information for these companies is also listed on our contacts page.

With both OEM and Branded Compatibles, we ask that you make a sincere effort to resolve any product issues with the manufacturers directly. However, if you are not able to receive an acceptable response, inksite will intervene on your behalf if necessary to work with you (usually by setting up a three-way telephone call), to receive satisfactory support from the manufacturer.

Generic products are new, non-branded compatible supplies produced for other manufacturers’ equipment. Inksite guarantees the generic products we sell for one full year from date of purchase. Please contact us for product support.
Remanufactured products are refilled, recycled cartridges, reconditioned to match the performance of the original. Inksite guarantees the remanufactured products we sell for one full year from date of purchase. Please contact us for product support.

Occasionally, and particularly with remanufactured items, a small percentage of cartridges may not operate as intended. If you experience any problem with any generic or remanufactured ink or toner cartridge you receive from inksite, we will replace it at no additional cost to you.

Furthermore, as part of our ongoing commitment to customer service, if we find that a particular replacement part is experiencing an unusually high rate of failure, we will remove it from our inventory, and provide you with alternative options.
